Ulvegårdens Knabstrupper is a small private stabel close to Varde on the west coast of Denmark.

We are a couple, Lisbeth and Helmut, who have horse stabling and we breed the best horse in the world Knabstrupper, as far as we are concerned.

As we wish to breed very good quality in horses we have never more horses in the stabels than we have the time for, to take care of and raise them properly.

From foal the horses learn to be held in human hands, learn to be tied up, learn to lift up the hooves and get them trimmed, to be lead etc. And very importantly, they get out into the fields to get exercise every day. As colt they learn to be shown and trained by Classisk Horsemanship. When they are 3-4 years old they are carefully broken in.
